He also holds a Commercial UAS License, reinforcing his hands-on approach to drone innovation.
With 14+ years in UAV training and operations, Nikin Mohan James oversees all aspects of drone training at FEDS Drone Academy. His expertise spans UAV safety, advanced piloting, and drone maintenance. Holding multiple industry certifications, Nikin plays a pivotal role in developing comprehensive training programs that prepare students for professional UAV operations.
A specialist in UAV-based surveying and GIS, Ashraf Jnad has over 9 years of experience in drone mapping and geographic data analysis. Holding a Master’s degree in GIS and multiple UAV certifications, he trains students in precision mapping and data processing. His expertise helps professionals leverage drone technology for advanced geospatial applications.
As Head of Media Operations at FEDS and a certified UAV instructor, Marlo Derla is an expert in aerial media production. He combines 1,000+ flight hours with a background in videography and photography to deliver specialised training. With over 8 years in mechatronics and UAV technology, Ram Prasad is a hands-on expert in drone training and maintenance. His expertise with DJI Enterprise drones ensures students gain practical skills for real-world operations. A certified DJI Enterprise Repair Specialist, Ram’s background empowers students to troubleshoot and repair drone systems with confidence.
Sheraz Mohamed is a seasoned UAV pilot and project manager with 6+ years of experience in multi-rotor and fixed-wing drone operations. Certified in NEBOSH and IOSH, he ensures safety compliance for every flight. Proficient in UAV maintenance, troubleshooting, and advanced software, he delivers precise results and training for drone professionals.
As COO of FEDS and a passionate drone enthusiast, Karen Banares brings a unique perspective to recreational drone training.
